Geotagging with Flickr
Yesterday Michael Arrington announced the launch of Flickr geo tagging and today I have marked my first photo with geo taggs:
A quite interesting introduction to this service can be found at Thomas Hawks Weblog, chief technology evangelist of Zooomr, one of Flickr’s major competitors! Flickr has uses Yahoo Maps as a mashup and like all Flickr stuff, this is quite usable.

Another options apart from Zooomr are loc.alize.us, Mapsack.com and our project Panoramio where we use Google Maps for mapping photos via drag and drop interface. Btw, you can later watch the photos in Google Earth KML feed, a much better experience than web based maps.
